Our Story
Hello... my name is Edie.
I am first and foremost the mom of an incredible adult son with autism, and for more than 30 years I have been deeply involved in the special needs community as both a parent and advocate.
Over the years, I have connected with many incredible special needs parents who share the same hopes, dreams, concerns, and desire for meaningful opportunities for our loved ones.
Together, we collaborated our thoughts, our ideas, and most importantly... our hearts. From those conversations, experiences, and dreams, Special KNEADS was born.
Today, I am proud to announce that something truly special is coming down the pike right here in Cheshire, Connecticut at the beautiful historic 100-year-old Old Bishop Farms.
